Side + Rear House Extension in West London

Construction has now commenced on our residential project in Ealing, featuring a side and rear wraparound extension, together with alterations to the front garden, including new hard landscaping and a dropped kerb.

We were appointed to provide a full architectural service, taking the project from concept through to planning permission and Building Regulations approval, contractor tendering, and now acting as Contract Administrator during the construction phase.

Although modest in scale, the project presented several technical challenges. One of the most significant involved reaching an agreement with Thames Water to divert the existing drainage network located beneath the proposed extension. This required a redesign of the scheme and close collaboration with our structural engineer to develop a practical and compliant solution.
